I have visited the spa at The Mount Royale Hotel on a couple of occasions and remember being amazed by the extensive gardens and outdoor swimming pool the first time I visited.  Absolutely perfect for a summer’s day, the outdoor pool is heated so no worries about it being too cold to use!  The pool is open May till September.  There is also a Scandinavian log cabin with sauna and steam room and outdoor heated hot tub which are all open all year round.
