Last night we went along to York Barbican to see Come What May. It’s a fabulous night out for fans of the Moulin Rouge or really any movie musical, with so many hit songs you will recognise from the eponymous Come What May through to songs from The Greatest Showman to Rocketman, the Elton John Musical.
The dancers were led by AJ and Curtis Pritchard who were amazing, just how do they find the energy to dance like that all night?
The main female singer was Jazzy Phoenix who could seriously belt out the high notes! The whole cast were splendid and so entertaining. The audience loved it and at the end of the show were on their feet for a standing ovation, then on their feet again to dance along with the stage!
The highlight of the night was the can-can, which was fun and a bit cheeky and made me decide that I really want to visit the Moulin Rouge in Paris. In fact, we can-canned all the way back to Castle car park!
