Kennedy’s Bar and Restaurant

We recently visited Kennedy’s for lunch to try out Comal, their new Mexican pop-up restaurant menu. They serve tacos, quesadillas and nibbles as small plates to share.

Smokehouse Burritos
Shambles Market Food Court, York YO1 7LX
You will find Smokehouse Burritos on the Shambles Market Food Court, with lots of other outlets for street food. It’s takeout only but there are some outdoor benches to bag if you are lucky.

Ok, so Taco Bell might not have been what you were thinking about while searching for Mexican food in York but it’s one to consider if you are craving Tacos!
Batanga Mexican Restaurant
9 Franklins Yard, York YO1 9TA
Batanga Mexican Restaurant is down a little alley off Fossgate, underneath the Korean restaurant, Oshibi. It’s a tiny restaurant with just a few tables, which helps give it a friendly feel. I have to say the food was fabulous.
