Yesterday we went along to Zest on Whip-Ma-Whop-Ma-Gate, to try out their breakfast/brunch offering. They serve all day breakfast and brunch as well as all day 2 for 1 cocktails. It’s a lovely environment and decorated very prettily as you can see.
Update – there is free tea and coffee with all breakfast and brunch dishes in January.

I found the prices very reasonable, and tried the Open Steak Sandwich (on Sourdough with caramelised onion, sweet chilli BBQ and salad) for £9.95. You can also add chips for an additional 99p.

We also tried the Chargrilled Chicken Flatbread (with smoked harissa houmous, kimchi salad and mint sauce). It’s not one I would have chosen (not keen on houmous!) but my friend loved it and plans to return with her family, which I feel is an excellent endorsement!

My other friend went for the Full English which was sizeable as you can see. At £12.95 I also thought this was reasonably priced.

Since we were having a girls’ day out, we also indulged in Zest’s 2 for 1 cocktails. We tried out the Apple and Raspberry Bramble, priced at £12.95 for two which I would recommend. We also felt we should try the cocktail ‘Whip-Ma-Whop-Ma-Gate’ which was served in these curious glasses and was very fruity!

You can see Zest’s menus online here. I also took photos of the physical menus which I will paste below.

We were invited to visit Zest for the purposes of this review, but as always, all opinions are my own.
