Outrageous Gin and Drag Cabaret Coming to York for One Night Only

National Centre for Early Music  in the centre of York – Friday the 25th of March – Doors: 7pm. Showtime 8-10.30pm.

For one night only, one of the UK’s baddest drag queens will be celebrating all that’s naughty, villainous and outrageous about York and its outlaws courtesy of York Gin.

Cabaret superstar Velma Celli, ‘a true icon of drag’, who’s wowed audiences from New York to London and beyond, will host an evening of song, laughter – and gin.

Velma will be starring at ‘Outlaw Live!’ on Friday 25 March at the stunning and atmospheric National Centre for Early Music  in the centre of York.

York is a city of outlaws – Guy Fawkes was born here. Dick Turpin was hanged here. There’s a definite underbelly of naughtiness.

It’s even home to the super-strength York Gin Outlaw which comes with a warning: ‘Drink, with ice, tonic … and care!’

Harri Marshall from event partners York Gin said: ‘You can celebrate your inner outlaw as Velma and friends unleash a riot of glamorous outrage.

‘Entry comes with a special York Gin Outlaw cocktail.  It’s going to be an epic night for anyone who loves cabaret, drag and York Gin.’
