The Wizard Walk of York

The Magic Hatter is bringing his award-winning entertainment to the streets, with his Wizard Walk of York.

Public tours are running on selected evenings, starting from the bottom of The Shambles opposite The Golden Fleece. Pre-booking required. Private tours are available for birthdays, school groups, brownies, cubs and more. A wonderfully whimsical tour that wizard fans will go Potty for!

Connect Festival
41 Monkgate, York YO31 7PB
Four Wheel Drive will be hosting their Connect Festival from the 19th to the 23rd of July
2023 at Theatre @41 Monkgate. They aim to connect York-based creatives with one
another, and the next stage in their career.
The event will not only connect local creatives with like-minded individuals and industry
experts. It will also allow networking across disciplines, as live arts, digital media and
innovative technology will connect to celebrate creative communities here in York.
CONNECT offers opportunities for people in York to connect with York’s creative and cultural
scene
Festival guests include:

The York Indie Flea

The York Indie Flea is coming to York’s Hospitium on Sunday 23rd July! This Indie makers & vintage market with a friendly vibe is a one stop shop to fill your home and wardrobe with unique pieces. There will be a curated selection of indie businesses from vintage to handmade & more! Tickets get you early entry – or simply turn up and pay at the door!

BBQ Masterclass at The Grand

The Grand, York has teamed up with BBQ experts, Weber, to launch a series of Weber Academy classes.
Adding to the hotel’s already state-of-the-art cookery school, the classes showcase the best in BBQ excellence. The sessions cater to cooking enthusiasts at all levels and offer a diverse range of skills, from grilling the perfect burger to making pizzas and even chocolate fondants. It’s sure to make alfresco dining even more exciting this summer.
Running from July until September, and led by The Grand’s Cookery School Director, Marc Williams, guests will depart the class ready to cook up a feast for family and friends.
