I don’t know if you know Millington? It’s a tiny picturesque village up on the Yorkshire Wolds. For such a small place it packs a punch regarding hospitality as it has both a pub and a tea rooms. We don’t live far from Millington so last weekend when we had the good weather I thought I would nip up and take some photos of both.
The Ramblers Rest is a haven for all the walkers that enjoy The Wolds. As well as ice cream, tea and coffee, it also has an amazing selection of cakes and home-cooked food. Make sure you scroll down to the bottom for lots of menu and specials photos.
It is pretty in the summer and cosy in the winter when the fires are lit.
There is accommodation there too if you wanted to stay in the area. We have visited many times over the years and it’s always lovely.
I also took photos of their current opening times.
They do not allow dogs inside, but there is a very pretty outside area with lots of picnic tables.
I rather liked the fact that there were homegrown tomato plants for sale inside the doorway.
