I recently spotted that The Golden Fleece had started to do bottomless brunches, as this was a new one on us, we couldn’t wait to try it out! It’s priced at £35 and includes a meal and two hours of free flowing drinks.

You can choose one brunch dish (like a Full English, Smashed Avocado or Eggs Benedict). Additionally for an upgrade fee of £3 you can choose a selected main course (such as Chicken, Bacon & Avocado Ciabatta or Cheese & Bacon Burger). I liked the sound of the Full English (it did include beans, tomatoes and mushrooms but I don’t like them so I asked for them to be removed – just in case you love these things and are outraged they are not included!)

My friends went for the chicken burger:

and the beef burger:

Onto the drinks though! The menu says: “Choose either Prosecco or Prosecco rosé, any spritz from our drinks menu, Peroni or Birra Moretti, mimosas, bloody Marys, or ask a team member to see today’s soft drinks and fruit juice options and calorie information.” BUT when we arrived there was a menu on the table that said we could order any of the below cocktails AS WELL, which was a lovely surprise!

There was also a soft drink menu:

The additional cocktail options make this bottomless brunch so much more interesting! We were brought a bottle of Prosecco to the table to start us off:

And then we proceeded to the cocktails!

I’d like to label them all, but to be honest, after the Prosecco I no longer have a clue what they were all called. I have to say though that they were VERY strong, so don’t plan much for the following day!

I remember this one was something like a Negroni:

And you would enjoy this one if you like a Pornstar Martini!

I think this one was a John Peckett (like an espresso martini).

I think this one might be the ‘Golden Fleece’ a little like an Aperol Spritz.

The Golden Fleece is a lovely, traditional and quirky pub, and with the additional cocktail selection, a great one to try.
