We visited for lunch and it was excellent as you would expect from a restaurant run by Andrew Pern and his team. British classics done with the best ingredients and with flare.

Dyl’s Cafe and Bar

Dyl’s have a cool and quirky private dining space in their Tower Room “the perfect secret escape, ideal for business meetings, birthdays, anniversaries, leaving parties, group brunches, casual drinks and much more!”
The Tower Room is the most amazing space, with fabulous Gothic arched windows. It’s a small circular room – the table is in the centre of the room surrounded by circular booth seating.
It’s a private dining space. It’s free to book and before 3.30pm there is no minimum spend, the brunch menu is available and you can stay between one and two hours. After 3.30pm it’s just drinks and nibbles – it’s still free to book but the minimum spend is £50 per hour.
Can accommodate a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 11. Exclusive use of the entire venue is possible.
Fancy Hanks, York – Private Dining in York
