It’s a long time since I have done the bottomless brunch at Las Iguanas (in fact, it holds a special memory for me as it was my first meal out after the lockdowns of the pandemic, and you remember these things!). That time we ate on the rooftop terrace which is lovely on a sunny day and makes you feel like you are in the Mediterranean! Here is a photo I took at the time so you can see the terrace.
This visit we were inside downstairs. I would say that many in the restaurant were indulging in bottomless brunch which really gave the event a party atmosphere (that and the party music!).
The bottomless brunch at Las Iguanas lasts for two hours which makes it a particularly good deal. It’s also available everyday, which not all bottomless brunches are.
I particularly enjoy the food at Las Iguanas as it’s different from the usual ‘full English’ fare (not that I would ever say no to a full English either, mind!). You get to choose a main dish from above. As you will see you can also pay a supplement if you prefer one of the premium dishes. Bottomless brunch at Las Iguanas is currently £39.95 (check their website for up-to-date prices if you are not reading this when I publish!).
You can order as many drinks as you like within the two hours, and a staff member was always on hand to take your order. I tell you what though, the cocktails were STRONG – no watering down the drinks here! I had to switch to Pink Fizz in the end in order to be able to actually walk out of there when we had finished!
I thought the food was great too. I went for the Quesadillas with chipotle chicken and cheese. It was very tasty an I loved the pico salsa and chips too.
A lot of our party went for the Bahian Katsu Curry (Buttermilk fried chicken with Bahian curry of
coconut, tomato, ginger, cumin, cayenne & fresh coriander, served with spring onion rice) and I have to admit to having a little food envy of this myself.
We also tried the Classic Grilled Chicken Burger and fries:
And the chilli con carne with spring onion rice, tortilla chips, sour cream and chillies.
We do love a bottomless brunch and the food, cocktails and two hour window make the bottomless brunch at Las Iguanas one of our favourites!
We were invited to visit for the purposes of this review. As always, all opinions expressed are my own.
